The salads are presented in a large wooden bowl with tongs for you to serve yourself in a smaller white bowl. But if you prefer, an entrée portion is available for $12.95.Įach entrée is served with your choice of a Caesar Salad Bowl or a House Salad Bowl. The small plate was more than enough for two to try. The cheese and ragù were on the light side. The dumplings were nice and soft, but also a little firm. To start us off, one of the servers brought out a few Complimentary Munchies: breadsticks (plain and sesame), bread, olives, and olive oil with balsamic vinegar.įor an appetizer, we decided to try a small plate of the Ricotta Gnocchi Ragù ($7.95) - handmade potato dumplings with house ricotta cheese and traditional ragù. At the Italian Cucina, there is a warm, friendlier feeling.
After my less-than-perfect experience at Barona's Seafood Plaza, I am happy to say that their Italian Cucina was wonderful! The atmosphere is much different than Seafood Plaza.
